Why financing changes the decision
The difference between a base system and the variable-speed heat pump that earns the bigger utility rebate can be a small monthly amount — worth seeing on paper before deciding. The pre-estimate calculator shows an illustrative monthly payment for each equipment tier next to the cash price, and your written proposal does the same with the real numbers.
Rebates applied on the invoice lower the amount you need to borrow; the calculator already subtracts the low end of a verified rebate before it works out the monthly figure.
