Heat Pump, Furnace & AC Installation in Mill Creek
Mill Creek is about twenty minutes from our Snohomish branch over Seattle Hill Road and SR-96, and it is one of the most orderly cities we work in — a master-planned community built around a golf course, with the HOA covenants and design rules to match. We install heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioning, and ductless systems from the original Country Club neighborhoods and Heatherwood to the Town Center townhomes, and out across the Silver Firs and Mill Creek East neighborhoods that carry a Mill Creek address but sit in unincorporated Snohomish County.
The planned-community origin shows in the housing: 1970s–80s originals around the golf course on their second or third gas furnace, 1990s–2000s two-stories in Silver Firs and Mill Creek East with builder-grade heat pumps and furnaces reaching the end of their lives, and 2000s townhomes near Town Center with tight mechanical closets. Nearly every street has an HOA, and many have architectural rules about where outdoor equipment may sit and how it is screened — so we confirm the association’s requirements before we order anything, not after.
Mill Creek is Snohomish County PUD territory for electricity, with Puget Sound Energy supplying natural gas where a home has it. PUD rates are among the lowest in Washington and the PUD pays rebates on qualifying heat pumps, which makes a variable-speed heat pump a strong replacement for an aging system here. Financing is available on the install for a replacement like that, with the terms confirmed at your free estimate. The city also has its own noise table — Mill Creek Municipal Code 9.14.030 caps sound at a residential property line at 55 dBA during the day and 45 dBA at night — and we select and site every unit to clear it.

Permits: Mill Creek or Snohomish County + WA L&I
Inside city limits, the mechanical permit goes through the Mill Creek Permit Center; Silver Firs and Mill Creek East are unincorporated Snohomish County and permit through Snohomish County PDS. Electrical permits and inspections run through Washington State Labor & Industries in both cases. We confirm jurisdiction and handle all of it.
Noise: MCMC 9.14.030
Mill Creek limits sound at a residential property line to 55 dBA during the day and 45 dBA at night. Modern variable-speed heat pumps run quietly at part load; we check the unit’s published sound rating against the distance to the property line and add screening where needed so the installation clears the limit on the first inspection.
